The 29 Degree Tavern in Ft Worth sounds like a bar or club, but is actually a nice restaurant.
Our hostess seemed to be new due to some clumsy errors made on her part, but it didn't detract from the ambiance of the establishment.
The food was prepared to our expectations and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable.
Food cost was moderate and ranged from steak to salads. I had the Cajun pasta with chicken while Jenny had the catfish. Lacye commented that her hamburger was the best that she'd ever had and Johnnie did very well with his mac & cheese.
The beer was cold (29 degrees) but seemed somewhat flat.
